Starling Funnel Trap

This trap is just the right size for ease of transport and yet very effective and has two funnels with opening of 4"W x 4"H, which is just the right size to catch starlings.  It's also very effective in catching sparrows.  If I only have one trap to catch both of these invasive species, this would be my trap of choice.

I believe the main reason that this trap is so effective in catching starlings is that it's a true ground feeding bird trap. It's more natural for a ground feeding bird to just "walk" through the trap door and be trapped.

• For starlings: bread, french fries, cracked corn or anything that the starlings are attracted to in your particular area.
• Heavy duty 16 gauge 1/2" x 1" wire
• 2 funnels
• 4" x 4" funnels
• 14"W x 21"L x 8"H
• Main access door on to so you don't have to bend down on your knees to remove the trapped birds if the door is on the side.
