Yang Automatic Goshawk Trap

We continue to improve and develop new trapping equipment. And this automatic Yang Goshawk Trap is our latest and most advanced hawk trap yet. It is designed for the humane and safe capture of raptors from kestrel to red-tailed hawks, it is very effective on accipiters, especially cooper's hawks and goshawks. I designed and built this trap to replace the bulky traditional Swedish Goshawk Trap. It has a slick and low profile - the super low profile, when set, is only about 3" high and lays flat on top of the bait compartment. Though this automatic goshawk trap is low profile, when tripped, it has a 24" canopy that won't "pin" the captured hawk down like a bownet or other older German Goshawk (Butterfly/Clap) traps. The hawk can still stand up inside the trap.

The trap comes complete with a 9-inch tall bait compartment and 24" stand.

All parts are warrantied for one year.

This Yang Goshawk Trap is made to order so please allow 3-4 weeks for fabrication and delivery. It may take longer in the busy fall season

This trap will be shipped in two separate containers to save shipping cost.
