This completely new and innovative design Ultralight Backpack Mounting Plate only weighs 1.0 gram! It's designed
to be an "one size fits all" telemetry mounting plate. It will fit virtually any falconry bird. It has two clip tabs
for the transmitter mount so that it will retain the transmitter better than the traditional one clip tab. If
a bird plays with the transmitter and manages to get it undone from one tab, the second tab will still retain the
transmitter on the backpack so it won't get dropped/lost.
Our Ultralight Backpack will mount flat on a bird such that for larger size bird (see pictures below), the transmitter will disappear completely into the feathers greatly reduce the chances of it snagging on a branch or other objects. Please feel free to contact us at if you have any questions...
Note:
For small transmitters like the Marshall's Micro, this Ultralight Backpack Mounting
Plate will still work equally well, but only uses the back tab. The larger transmitters,
which have longer clips will utilize both the front and back tabs.

We have created a calculator that will compute a "ball park" figure for the measurement from the tip of the Ultralight Backpack Mounting Plate to the cross stitch location, which is just below the crop. You can use the calculator to get a starting value. From there you can make minor adjustments to fit your bird. |
